The neighbourhood update: a lively street, ice cream, goals and more
Peli has opened the front door, and look: there is a whole street out there! This update brings your neighbourhood to life, gives you fun things to do every day and makes playing with friends even cosier.
A lively street
Your restaurant now sits on a busy street. The bus brings guests, a street musician plays a tune, the postman does his round and a cat naps in the sun. Decorate the kerb with benches, lamps and flowers from the new Street tab in Build mode.
Ice cream, shops and delivery
- Peli's Scoops: run your own ice cream cart with cones, shakes, sundaes and cool drinks. Upgrade it into a real ice cream truck!
- Neighbourhood shops: Rosa's Bakery, Gus's Greens and Marina's Fish sell fresh baskets that make your dishes worth more.
- Delivery: riders on scooters bring your dishes to the neighbours and come back with Coins.
Weather and regulars
Every day brings sun, rain or snow, each with a dish that guests crave. Six regulars, like Lily the Pilot, visit your restaurant, and after a few visits they know you by name.
Something to do every day
- Daily goals: three small goals a day and three for the week. Swap one you don't like. No streaks, nothing ever resets.
- Stamp card: a stamp for every day you play. A full card gives Coins, Gems and sometimes a decoration.
- Newspaper: the weekly paper at the kiosk tells your week in numbers.
Shine with your friends
- Theme show: a new theme every week. Enter your restaurant, vote for your favourites and maybe become Restaurant of the Week.
- Peli stars: three very special stars for the very best restaurants, with a festive ceremony.
- Chat and gifts: chat safely with your friends, send a small daily gift and ask for a helping hand.
- Notifications: if you like, Pelicook can tell you when a dish is ready or a friend visited. You choose which ones, and it stays quiet at night.
A fresh new look
Every restaurant got a big makeover: new floors, walls, furniture and lights, from a golden dining hall to a black-and-white lounge with a piano. Check out the pictures on our home page.
