Freshness

Food does not stay good forever. Once a dish is on a counter, a little clock starts ticking.

The fresh leaf

  1. Food on a counter stays fresh for a while. The green leaf shows it.
  2. Tap a counter to see how long its food stays good.
  3. When the time is up, the food spoils and is gone. Sell it first!

Keep food fresh for longer

  • Upgrade your appliances. Better stoves keep food fresh longer (see Appliances and levels).
  • Use sauces. Herb Butter and Lavender Honey make your food stay fresh longer for a while (see Herb garden).
  • Cook what you can sell. Many guests? Cook big batches. Quiet time? Cook a little less.
